Why We Only Offer A Monthly Membership

At Peak 47 CrossFit, we do things differently — we only offer a monthly membership.
That means no 2- or 3-day-per-week options and no punch cards.

Why? Because real fitness doesn’t come from dropping in now and then — it’s built through consistency, coaching, and community.

Unlike other gyms, you’re not just paying for access to equipment. You’re investing in expert instruction, a supportive environment, and a program designed to improve your fitness for life.

In this post, we’ll break down why our monthly membership model exists, how it helps you reach lasting results, and why it leads to the biggest return on your effort.

Health is a Relationship, Not a Punch Card

We know that dropping into an 8-week yoga program or hitting a HIIT class here and there is popular.
But if you’re serious about your health — meaning your fitness throughout your entire life — you need more than quick bursts. You need consistency, coaching, and accountability.

At Peak 47 CrossFit, our coaches monitor your performance and progress over days, months, and even years to make sure you’re improving. If we only see you once a week or once in a while, we can’t collect the data we need to truly help you grow — or adjust your training as your goals evolve.

That’s why we measure your progress across multiple metrics throughout the year:

  • Blood Pressure

  • Body Fat Percentage

  • Muscle Mass

  • Weight

  • Personal Records and Benchmarks (like your 1-Mile Run or Back Squat)

This data allows us to build a program that adapts to you — not the other way around.

Someone using a punch card isn’t really investing in the process, which makes it impossible for us to invest our time and coaching in a meaningful way.

Coach’s Tip: Make the most of your membership by using our Quarterly Health Check-Ins. They’re built to help us guide your training, nutrition, and lifestyle toward the results you want.

Our Community is Always There For You, Be There for Us

One of the best parts about CrossFit is the community.
When you become a member at Peak 47, you’re not just joining a gym — you’re joining a group of people who genuinely want to see you succeed, inside and outside the walls.

This community has been forged over nearly a decade of working out together — a melting pot of parents, professionals, students, and everyday people who show up, work hard, and cheer each other on.

When you commit to a monthly membership, you’re investing in that community — and in turn, it invests in you.
But when you’re only here occasionally, through a punch card or part-time plan, it’s hard to build the same relationships, rhythm, and shared momentum that make this place so special.

We don’t just want you to use the community — we want you to become part of its story. Every member contributes to the energy, accountability, and support that make Peak 47 what it is.

Pro Move: Stick around after class, come on group hikes, join us for community events, or grab dinner with the crew. The more you show up, the more this place feels like home.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES

I hate to break it to you — but there are no quick fixes.
There’s only ruthless consistency over long periods of time.

Don’t get me wrong — 2–3 CrossFit classes a week is great and you WILL see results.
But do you know what’s better? 4–5.

That’s 4–5 hours of your week where you don’t have to think about anything besides showing up. Even if you can’t give 100% on that fifth day — that’s OK. The act of showing up is the win.

Yes, there are immediate benefits to doing CrossFit — more energy, better sleep, stronger muscles — but the results that stick around for life are built through consistency over time.

When you sign up for a punch card or a 2–3x/week membership, you’re already saying, “I’m not totally committing.”
At Peak 47, we don’t chase shortcuts — we build durable humans.

That’s why our mission is simple:

Peak 47 CrossFit uses CrossFit to optimize long-term fitness — also known as health. We build durable humans through expert coaching, a strong community, and a commitment to forging elite fitness for life.
— Peak 47 Team

Try This: Sign up, show up, and commit to the process. You’ll be amazed at what happens when you stop chasing shortcuts and start building consistency.

Summary

Now you know why we only offer a monthly membership, because true health is not a drop-in activity - it is a relationship built over time. It is a relationship with yourself, your coach, and your new community. None of these things are a quick fix. Over time we build durable humans one day, one class, and one workout at a time.
